ANOTHER FANTASTIC ADVENTURE

GETTING STARTED

3/2/2015

OFF TO SINGAPORE

Saturday, March 14 Michael and I leave Boulder bound for Singapore and the start of an almost 10,00 mile sea voyage that will end in Athens in late April.

This route is essentialy the reverse of the route on which Michael lectured annually twenty years ago. It is an itinerary that I have never been on.  The only places that will be repeats for me are Singapore, Israel, Kusadasi, Turkey and Athens.

By the end of the trip we will have circled the earth in a westwad direction.

We are really looking forward to more tha a month of warn, and downright hot, weather.  Boulder, like most of the rest of the U.S., has been extremely cold and  snowy  these past few weeks.

Above is a picture taken at Ephesus in 2010, one of the few spots I have been on this itinerary.

Michael is also planning a trip blog.  His take on the trip can be found at his blog site.
